For 25 years, I have been a creative professional with a proven knowledge of a wide variety of skills in small business management, design, marketing, and writing. My experience has given me the opportunity to gain expertise in many different areas. I am also an avid traveler and enjoy exploring new cultures and challenging myself to try new activities.-------Amy is a true "valley girl", having been born and raised right here in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Amy had her own computer by the time she was five, and has been doing programming and design projects ever since.She wrote her first poem while in the branch of a cherry tree at the age of 5. Since then, she's earned a degree in Writing & Literature from George Fox University to further her skills in all types of writing including stage and screen plays, fiction, and journalism.In May 2000, Amy moved on to be the Web Diva for a telecommunications marketing partnership, which was spun off as Fluid Communications, and became Quixotic Productions as of January 1, 2003.In 2010, Amy joined the local Classical Conversations homeschool community with her oldest daughter and tutored grammar-age classes. This once-per-week program utilizes the classical tools of learning. She has moved on to direct 7th, 9th, and 11th grade in the Challenge program. She has had the privilege of being the speaker for a 3-day conference and led training for fellow Challenge directors.In 2016, Amy decided to branch out in a new direction and opened CocoPolka Company, an online retailer selling photo albums by leveraging Amazon's FBA program to sell "small albums for big memories". The journey of learning to design and source products and all of the ins and outs of selling online has been a rewarding and fulfilling challenge. This endeavor expanded her skills to include social media management and learning to leverage AI technology to help with the running of her one-woman business.Personal:Married 25 years to computer programmer Sean.Daughters Anya, Willow, and Éowyn are the joy of their lives, and Amy delights in homeschooling them.Hobbies:Reading, writing, digital artwork, sci-fi & fantasy, studying history and mythology, web design, and Latin.
