As South Texas Director of Development with the TSTC Foundation, I am charged with identifying, cultivating and soliciting major gifts. Collaboratively develop and supervise the integration and execution of special event programs that are consistent with the goals, strategies and objectives of the institutional advancement plan.I also coordinate donor-designated scholarship programs and maintain a portion of the donor database via Raiser's Edge. Facilitate and coordinate foundation/corporation cultivation, research and proposals. Facilitate the receipt of donor-restricted funds and insure implementation according to donor’s wishes.

As Director for Institutional Advancement for TSTC Harlingen, I am charged with identifying, cultivating and soliciting major gifts. Develop strategies and oversee the implementation of all advancement vehicles and activities including, but not limited to: Capital Campaigns, Annual Fund, direct mail, special events, and cultivation events. Collaboratively develop and supervise the integration and execution of special event programs that are consistent with the goals, strategies and objectives of the institutional advancement plan.Develop and manage cultivation strategies and programs with a growing emphasis on alumni. I also coordinate donor-designated scholarship programs and maintain a portion of Administer, the E-Tapestry database. Facilitate and coordinate foundation/corporation cultivation, research and proposals. I also work collaboratively with other campus department to ensure that institutional communications and messages are consistent and of the highest quality for developmental purposes. Facilitate the receipt of donor-restricted funds and insure implementation according to donor’s wishes.

I teach hatha yoga at all levels and styles, including restorative alignment, restorative yoga, vinyasa and flow. I also serve as the marketing consultant for Harlingen Yoga Center, which includes creating, updating and maintaining the center's branding, imaging, marketing and online presence via their website and social media. I also give BackMitra classes and am available for restorative alignment and BackMitra workshops.

I am charged with handling the marketing, branding and communication of social media for the institution from a public and media relations perspective. I assist with the management of the Office of News and Information, coordinating web content, write and edit new releases, video scripts and multimedia content.I also serve as the liaison between the university and the community and media. I also am at times pulled in the write copy for marketing purposes and coordinate press conferences.
