I have owned and operated my own professional face paint and party planning company since 1996. I train single income parents and disabled individuals how to face paint, as an artistic outlet and a way to increase their monthly fixed income. This also inspires hundreds of hours a year in volunteer work within our community.

During my time at the Dana-Thomas House in Springfield, Illinois I gave hundreds of guided and specialty tours of the Frank Lloyd Wright designed home. I also spent time at Kauffman Family Estate, "Fallingwater" in Mill Run, PA and Frank Lloyd Wright's home "Taliesin" and College of Architecture in Spring Green, WI. During my time at "Fallingwater" and "Taliesin" I widened my knowledge of Wrightian architecture and history, of the architect and his clients. I utilized this information to bring an even more unique experience to the visitors at the local historic site, in Springfield, IL. I volunteered at numerous Luminary events, during the holiday specialty tour season.

As a volunteer with the Prairie Art Alliance, I spent time at the gallery for various events and fundraisers. I helped with setting up events, assisting artists with instillations and bartending. I enjoyed my time volunteering at these events, prior to becoming the SAA Collective. Afterward, I volunteered with the Springfield Art Association at a few events for gallery shows and "Canvas & Cocktail" classes.
