As an Electorate Officer I assisted to manage and run the electoral office of a politician. I undertook a range of administration duties, as well as responding to enquiries from members of the electorate of Warringah, and liaising with Government departments and other organisations. I also assisted in co-ordinating correspondence between the office and other individuals and organisations, organise particular aspects of election campaigns, schedule meetings, and organise events.

As an integral member of the administrative support team, this role works closely with executives and staff of a professional building services and project management group. Responsibilities include the high-level support of company executives and 10 staff members in an administrative capacity, and providing exemplary front-of-house customer service. Flexibility is required due to the varying nature of tasks to be completed on a day-to-day basis. A key attribute that has ensured my success in the role is my ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks simultaneously, without sacrificing quality, and a genuine drive to achieve, and surpass, project goals.

Imperative to the role was the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders, including trainers and external clients, in order to coordinate efficient training sessions. In addition to training scheduling commitments, responsibilities also included general office operations management and administration and computer systems maintenance.
