I have now finished my degree at Manchester Metropolitan University studying BA in Business Psychology where I received a 2:1. Business Psychology looks into the demands of consumers, how companies can survive, how companies can improve internally and externally as well as the psychology behind why companies succeed by exploring Internal culture for example. This is a growing focus areas for many companies in many internal departments such as Marketing, HR, Training, Project Management, Finance, Customer Service. I have just finished work experience in a marketing/ Finance/ Project role where I was in charge of the marketing and events calendar for a small local hospitality business. For this role, I had to be self organised, have a positive attitude, a keen eye for detail, manage purchasing and invoicing, prepare customer accounts, liaise with internal departments, use my communication skills with customers and other staff members to ensure successful events. During my time at University, I worked extensively in hospitality based roles. Within these roles I developed strong customer service communication skills, conflict resolution, be a team leader, worked well in fast paced, high intensity environment. I can follow process and procedure, risk management, and I was part of end of day banking, staff development and training, support system, and an active contributor in internal meetings which are all worthwhile skills to carry forward into my future career.In every role, I am reliable, punctual and flexible. I am a hard worker who works well under pressure and in new environments. I am outgoing and confident individual who is a strong character in a team as I always supports and encourages others to express their opinions as well as express my own. I am keen to learn and develop my skills I have learnt in the workplace and at university in a professional business who can develop my skills and knowledge.
