Whilst working at La Passioné my role as head waitress was to make sure the restaurant was clean and ready to be opened by completing tasks such as preparing cutlery and cleaning tables. I would take customers orders and make drinks which allowed me to have extensive knowledge of the menu and prices. I would serve the customers food and deal with the bills. Another key element of my role was addressing and resolving customer complaints this paired with the fact the kitchen staff spoke limited English allowed for me to develop my communication skills. Additionally, I helped close up by managing the till, compiling lists of things needed to be ordered and by cleaning.
