Managed a team of database developers and administrators responsible for all SQL Server databases running Rosnet’s PowerCenter web based client software. This included 1000 databases across 4 environments with the largest database size at 1.5 TB.• Led a year-long project to acquire business intelligence software to embed in Rosnet’s client software. Handled all vendor relationships and led in-house pilot projects towards final software selection.• Designed and built the dimensional data model to support the business intelligence development. • Architected and coded the ETL process to move data in real time from the OLTP databases to the BI databases.• Administered WebFocus, developed all metadata, and identified performance improvements in the WebFocus code so more performant SQL code was generated.• Built a metadata driven solution that dynamically generated SQL to move restaurant location data between databases across 700+ tables.

- Created and led a business intelligence team that was responsible for supporting and maintaining the existing Business Objects reporting system sold to ImageNow customers on multiple database platforms. - Identified root cause performance issues with existing Crystal reports and developed a way to rewrite all reports to gain 90% performance improvement.- Tasked with developing a replacement business intelligence solution. - Prototyped Cognos integration with ImageNow using Cognos reports, dashboards, an ETL process, and OLAP cubes.- Designed and built multiple database architectures for a Cognos prototype including summary tables, dimensional modeling, and OLAP cubes built by Cognos Transformer.

Developed and led a data architecture team whose main responsibility was the creation of the logical/physical data models and data model creation in SQL Server 2005 for the new enterprise architecture and hardware platform for the USDA's redesigned crop insurance software.
