About Amy E. Smith

The small-town feeling of Georgetown is important to me and I am sure it’s important to many of you. It’s the reason why people moved or stayed here. But we also help grow our vision for its future. To do that, we need everyone - voting, volunteering, and voicing your opinions and ideas. We should be looking at ways to revitalize our downtown, for example - make it the heart of our community, a safe and green space for residents, and a welcome place for small businesses.Transparency and communication are integral to the kind of board member I want to be. To best serve you, our community, we as a board need to be clear about what we want to achieve on your behalf. We need to communicate that effectively to town residents, and we need to communicate effectively among town boards and commissions.

Listed skills include Technical Writing, Information Architecture, Project Management, Social Media, and 33 others.
