I am comfortable collaborating across departments, understand resource constraints, and am able to prioritize.What I Do: • Create the annual Geocaching Block Party every year with thousands of local and international geocachers in attendance. • Collaborate with the video team to create the Geocaching International Film festival event. • Manage Mega-Event sponsorships including event review processes, contract administration, event organizer support, GIFF Films management, and general geocaching event consulting. • Host and administer a private Mega-Event organizer forum and encourages sharing and collaboration among the Mega-Event planning community. • Work with event souvenir submissions to ensure they are in the system and ready for events. • Oversee the donations program that includes events, Mega-Events, academic and scouting opportunities. • Develop sponsorship opportunities for the Geocaching brand and manages the sponsorship program. • Manage the Signal the Frog® mascot, including travel itinerary, guidelines for use, and social media presence. • Manage trade show appearances and asset shipping. • Seek and execute both marketing and activation event opportunities and strategies. • Develop educational programing to support the continued growth of the game. • Make the scouting program educational and engaging. • Manage the GPS Maze program. • Plan and implements the Geocaching HQ holiday company event awesomeness. • Manage budgets for all above programs.
