Hi, I’m Amy. I care deeply about making workplaces more fair and inclusive. With a background in science and a commitment to social justice, I’ve found my place working as an Equal Opportunities Officer, where I focus on creating real, tangible change.🧬From Science to Equity💫I started my career as a scientist, diving into research and honing my analytical skills. But as much as I loved science, I couldn’t ignore the inequalities I saw in the workplace. That pushed me to take a step back and ask myself: how can I make a bigger impact? That’s what led me to this work—figuring out how to break down barriers and create opportunities for everyone, no matter their starting point.🌍Why Equity Matters🌈Equity isn’t about treating everyone the same—it’s about making sure people have what they need to succeed. Not everyone starts from the same place, and it’s our job to recognize that and address it.
