Under the City’s newly-launched sector-based framework (Career Pathways), I was the first Executive Director to oversee Employer-based Training and the founding Director for Construction and Industrial Training. I oversaw an annual $4M budget (comprised of federal, local, and private funding) that created opportunities for social and economic advancement for thousands of un- and under-employed New Yorkers through job training and helping businesses train and retain their employees.
