Amy has been a dedicated member of the team helping G&A grow through the years. Amy’s responsibilities include aspects of employee / human relations, maintaining and overseeing G&A’s internal infrastructure and serving as IT and third-party vendor liaison. Amy also coordinates internal projects and initiatives for the company such as the Institute’s online training programs, internships, the company website, social media presence, G&A’s Sustainability Highlights newsletter and Sustainability Update blog, as well as the Institute’s research reports and resource papers. Amy is also responsible for coordination of the Institute’s event activities, both G&A lead and via collaborations with dozens of leading industry conferences each year.

As Vice President of Client Services and Creative Director, Amy served as project manager for all client-related activities. Amy is experienced with desktop publishing, graphics and design, and oversaw all design elements related to client projects, Institute research reports, and marketing. Amy’s project management skills ensured client projects and programs moved smoothly on scheduled timelines to meet established deadlines. Amy is experienced in the oversight of full-service research, issue monitoring, and interactive communication programs. Amy’s portfolio of skills have been utilized to design, create and manage communication and marketing outreach programs for clients, centered on online communications and database operations. Amy has designed grassroots, media, third party, stakeholder, activist, and government agency databases for client communication programs. Amy has in-depth project experience with research reports, issue monitoring, design, development, marketing and internet communications programs; design and development of custom public websites and private password protected secure intranet sites; development and management of customized, proprietary databases for client organizations in the corporate and not-for-profit sectors as well as training for web site maintenance and updating on Typo3 programming platforms.

Chatty Child Speech Therapy is a personalized therapeutic center for children and their families conveniently based in downtown Manhattan. Treatment sessions and services are provided in a beautiful, state-of-the-art center. The Chatty Child Center is comprised of a large sensory room, individual treatment rooms, and a comfortable, inviting waiting and resource room with internet and wifi connection for parents and caregivers. Chatty Child was founded and created by speech-language pathologist Heather Boerner M.A., CCC/SLP, T.S.H.H, who has more than ten years’ experience in the field.

Before joining G&A, Amy was an Account Executive for Rowan & Blewitt Incorporated, a global crisis management and issues management consulting firm that was under the corporate umbrella of Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG). The firm’s clients were Fortune 100 and multinational companies. She worked closely with clients in creating information management systems to help clients meet their needs.
