Dahl Consulting (DAHL) specializes in Workforce Process Management, Vendor Management Services, and Sourcing and Staffing Services for businesses throughout the upper Midwest. As the Marketing Manager for Doherty Employer Services (now Oasis Outsourcing), I utilized my decade of experience in advertising strategy and coordination to enhance our corporate branding strategy and internal strategic planning efforts for this division of Doherty | The Employment Experts.

At DAKOTACARE, my position had many functions and responsibilities. In this role, I assisted with the launch of marketing plans/campaigns and mass media outputs with production assistance from outside marketing agency; developed, monitored and maintained Sales & Marketing Department budget to ensure proper allocation and containment of marketing expenses; as well as lead the creative development and copywriting of all print, signage and other graphic products (brochures, sales fliers, press releases, testimonial pieces, etc.) as principal designer/editor.Additionally, I spearheaded all online marketing initiatives for company, including: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniquesPay Per Click (PPC) account managementWebsite administration/enhancement of main and community microsites, utilizing content management softwareInitially researched/successfully launched and now manage conceptual development and online execution of all social media channels, venues and directories I also acted as a liaison between internal Sales & Marketing Department and all outside marketing agency, print production, promotional item and news media vendors; managed logistics for all trade show and special events (including development of strategic marketing theme/approach, creative graphics output, on-site event management, etc.); served as direct touch-point for agent force (300+ across South Dakota) to assist with policy questions and insurance products sales; coordinated logistics for agent contracting and database management activities to ensure compliance and sales goals; and fielded direct sales calls for individual insurance products.

As the Branch Manager, I acted as direct project manager and client liaison for key accounts within agency, including state government level clientele, including: North Dakota Department of Transportation, Office of Traffic Safety (NDDOT, OTS); served as creative director and principal designer for client marketing projects/initiatives, spanning numerous industries; purchased media for both traditional (television, radio, billboard, etc.) and non-traditional (indoor, gas-topper, theater screen, etc.) mediums statewide across North Dakota, in both rated and unrated markets; monitored and maintained client media budgets to ensure parameters were held and gross rating point goals were met for optimal reach and frequency of message; performed professional photography functions encompassing all commercial, product and portrait needs for various clientele; as well as assisted with copywriting, editing and proofreading of various client communications pieces.

In this position, I acted as an account supervisor and main photographer for schools within assigned territory; maintained all associated bookwork and accounting functions for school accounts; was assigned to lead web development and administration of company website; performed professional photography shoots at wedding, senior and family portrait sessions.
