Lead the region’s team that supports all facets of the analytical/business intelligence needs of the organization with respect to membership and Line of Business analytics, competitive intelligence and Market Research. Act as the "conduit" to intelligence on prospects, customers, environment and market shifts. Use processes and systems to transform data into actionable, value-added business insights that facilitate real-time decision-making. Complete include Line of Business analyses, segmentation and targeting, and performance reporting. Discover and support new paths to intelligent growth by providing actionable insights and understandings to inform marketing strategy to elevate brand equity and customer loyalty, innovate on new segmentation schemes to optimize sales enablement, and employ analytical methods to measure and report on marketing effectiveness.

Lead coordination of the Georgia region’s management information development and reporting. Responsible for identifying and reporting key performance indicators and results. Advise leaders at all levels on data and reporting opportunities and capabilities and will work to ensure that the region’s reporting capabilities are consistent with regional and national needs. Direct data and reporting resources responsible for identifying, tracking and reporting operational and administrative information to regional senior leadership, as well as creates and/or deploys tools for needed for the dissemination of both detail- and summary-level performance tracking.

1 Over seventy direct reports, including teams responsible for application programming and integration, application support, field services and Solution Center. 2 Create effective working relationships with all constituents of Children’s for leading the activities necessary to support the day-to-day operations in assigned areas of responsibility. 3 Direct, coordinate and guide strategic and tactical planning and day-to-day operations for assigned areas of responsibility in order to support the overall vision, mission, values, goals, and objectives of Children’s as it relates to information systems and technology and health information management. 4 Create and nurture excellent and highly credible relationships with all constituents with particular emphasis on consistent, superior service.5 Ensure the establishment and enforcement of principles, standards, policies, and quality metrics necessary to standardize, integrate and coordinate information technology and management. 6 Continuously assess and improve the performance and services provided by the IS&T support division. 7 Work with the CIO/VP IS&T in the analysis of System needs as required for long range planning, budgeting, and implementing of technology services, specifically as pertain to the support requirements of new technology. 8 Develop and maintain the annual operating and capital budgets for assigned areas of responsibility consistent with strategic plans and established financial guidelines. 9 Research, evaluate, and recommend alternatives for the enhancement or re-engineering of IT service delivery. 10 Ensure that Children’s information systems operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, and legal requirements. 11 Evaluate alternatives, perform appropriate cost benefit analyses, and recommend solutions that minimize costs and support enhanced patient care of business service delivery commensurate with acceptable risks.

Responsible for development and optimization of Kaiser Permanente’s Solution Design and Consulting function in six regions. Partner with the Portfolio solution Design & Consulting (SD&C) offices, the Regional CIO’s and their Regional SD&C teams to ensure consistency, alignment and optimization of our processes and practices in the Regional SD&C offices outside California. Charter is cross-portfolio and both National and Regional in scope. Ensure that Regional SD&C offices optimize their consultation with business partners to define requirements, develop solution alternatives and estimates, work closely with the Regional Enterprise Architects to align designs with the National Systems Strategy (NSS), assess IT impacts and risks, and provide overall leadership and management of application/data/technical architectures.
