As the operations manager I was involved with multiple departments including the front desk, housekeeping, sales and catering, and our bistro. I was the Director over five after-school program sites. I provided curriculum activities and support to each center. I was responsible for recruiting and training staff at my locations. and hires staff. I was responsible for insuring that all programs were in compliance with child care licensing rules and regulation. I also ensured the safety of all children while providing a fun learning environment for them.• Trained 40+ staff on program safety, lesson plans, center activities, and other licensing procedures to ensure children’s safety.• Implemented our “Lights on Afterschool” reading program where our coaches mentored students and read to them.• Planned all summer field trips and worked with local school district to provide bus transportation.

Some job duties may include preparing invoices, sending out delinquent notices, maintaining outstanding accounts and keeping a monthly ledger of account activity. It may be necessary to call customers will delinquent accounts, so a customer service foundation is important as well.
