Amy is a public health consultant, registered nurse, and women's health advocate with 20 years of international and domestic non-profit experience, including:• Technical expertise in maternal and child health, reproductive health and family planning, health commodity security, and gender issues in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and Latin America• Superior project management and fundraising skills with an ability to excel under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver measurable results• Effective cross-cultural communication and facilitation skills amongst varied audiences including donors, media, government officials, medical professionals, scientists and youth• Authentic leadership style with a talent for cultivating teamwork and individual strengths• Clinical experience in L&D , antenatal care, triage, operating room, PACU and postpartum units in care of pregnant and laboring patients in a fast-paced, 400+ delivery a month hospital as well as in an Indian Health Services secondary-level of care hospital setting where stabilization and transport to tertiary, referral care was also part of clinical decision-making and practiceAmy is a published author and earned a masters in public health with a specialty in international maternal and child health from the University of California, Berkeley.
