As the director of career development for STEM PhD students and postdocs, I oversee the myCHOICE career development program and work one-on-one with graduate students and postdocs in science, engineering and math fields to help them elucidate and achieve their professional goals. In this role, I also design and execute professional development and career exploration events to support graduate students and postdocs at UChicago. Under my postdoctoral affairs role, I convene the postdoc advisory board and serve the liaison between postdocs across campus and the office of the Provost.

As a Postdoctoral Researcher in Lucas Pinto's lab I investigated the role of cholinergic modulation in decision-making through in-vivo calcium imaging.

In this position, I assisted the MSTP administrative staff to coordinate in-person and virtual admission sessions for the dual-degree MD PhD program.

As a graduate researcher in John Disterhoft's Lab, I investigated the role of the entorhinal cortex and sex differences in associative memory. Furthermore, I developed behavioral mouse preparation for single unit recording during trace eyeblink conditioning using an air puff as an unconditioned stimulus

As a member of Patricia DiLorenzo's lab, I investigated temporal coding of gustatory stimuli in the parabrachial nucleus of the pons (PbN). I assisted graduate students with laboratory work and completed an honor's thesis on my work.

As a member of the Student Undergraduate Research Fellowship, I worked in Howard Eichenbaum's lab and assisted in studies of context-dependent learning, focusing on the connection between the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex.

I facilitated student's understanding of course material through personal office hours.
