In this role I managed the account for the UK launch of JustFab.com, the online fashion styling service which offers members a fun and engaging personalised shopping experience for designer led shoes and handbags.From developing strategic communications initiatives and collateral to overseeing press release deliveries, my role as PR Manager for the account was to generate effective and positive organisational exposure and enable the success of dynamic media campaigns.I was regularly media and consumer facing and would utilise my persuasive communication skills to influence public perceptions. I would design and develop large scale media launch events, liaising with non competitive brands for partnerships and creating the event from inception to completion, working with external agencies, models, influencers, decision makers and stake holders. Part of this role would be to verbally address the attendees, with groups running into the hundreds, in order to introduce the brand and its concepts. As such I am a confident public speaker and remain calm in such situations.Another element of the role was to engage with UK celebrities and online personalities to procure brand ambassador deals. This meant regular face to face dealings with celebrity management companies and high profile individuals. This further developed my ability to keep calm in situations that can be overly exciting or stressful for other individuals.
