As manager of the golf lab I performed many duties. Such as; hiring of golf lab attendants, creating schedules, creating a policies and procedures booklet, ensuring that all staff is properly trained, ensuring that the golf lab technology is functioning to the best of my ability, if needed contacting technology providers for assistance with ensuring they are functioning properly, keeping payment of staff up-to-date,creating rough budgets, as well as much more. I was fully trained in TrackMan, Quintic, HD Golf Simulator, and V1 Video Software; as well as assited in training my staff.

My main function in the pro-shop was as an attendant to the pro- shop this meant that I spent a lot of time answering phones, checking people in for their tee-times, booking future tee-times, and making sure that the pro-shop was looking neat and fully stocked as much as possible. I could also spend a lot of time assisting the guest services people with their jobs. This typically contained; washing carts, retrieving carts for customers, “filling” carts (with water bottles, towels, tees and scorecards), and taking out/putting clubs in club storage. I also spent time rearranging the store and redoing the displays in the store as well as the display case in the dining room.

Along with other employees ensure that students in the Golf Management programs at Georgian College have a good time and use equipment provided properly. In order to ensure this all employees have been trained for the use of HD Golf Simulator, V1 full-swing teaching software program, TrackMan, and Quintic Putting Analysis Software.

Along with other employees, assist in raking bunkers and preparing them for play. As well as trimming grass using a line trimmer around trees and gardens on property, also planting and caring for a plentiful amount of flowers and gardens including identifying and removing an abundant amount of weeds and unwanted plants.(List of trained machines available upon request.)

Set up and update Facebook and other social networking pages for Wave Hockey programs.

Along with other employees, assist customers in picking flowers as well as arranging and wrapping bouquets. On top of consistently keeping my department clean, was required to learn the names of different plants sold in the store as well as proper care for each one, in addition to use this information to assist customers with any questions on the plants they had.

At Bertin Stables I would spend weekend mornings cleaning the barn and stalls to ensure safe and well-keeping of the horses that reside there. I was also a coach for children between the ages of 5-9 (approximately). Coaching happened mainly at Friday Night Camps, as well as extensive weeks spent working at the summer camps at the barn. The camps also allowed me the opportunity to work as a camp councilor to all age groups whom attended the camps. I also assisted in Councilor Duties with one of the main coaches during her Sunday morning student camp.
