As an Emerging Technology Fellow for NukeLab, an undergraduate research lab focusing on pressing nuclear security, deterrence, and proliferation questions, I am examining how artificial intelligence capabilities impact nuclear weapons. My research centers on the applications of AI for NC3 and ISR operations, and implications for international security.

I manage technology for virtual WMGIC conferences via video conferencing and online content sharing platforms, ensuring connection is seamless between staff and students (100+ teams and 400+ overall participants) from across the world. I also maintain and update the WMGIC website and YouTube platform to help facilitate the sharing of dozens of policy ideas originating from our conferences.

I worked at BFA Global primarily on TECA, a fintech-enabled venture launcher for climate resilience with a current focus on the Blue Economy in East Africa. I assisted the program with ecosystem mapping, talent acquisition, and project research. I was also involved in work related to the CIFAR Alliance and inclusive jobtech.

I received a grant from the William & Mary Charles Center to complete a qualitative analysis of state-sponsored cyberattacks using regime classification and political institution modeling. My research examined the relationship between the severity/type of cyberattack usage and the structure of authoritarian regimes.

I was a William & Mary Global Research Institute Summer Fellow placed in Nairobi, Kenya with BFA Global.

I interned for the USAWC working under Dr. Echevarria of the Strategic Studies Institute (SSI) to support the development of an unclassified report for a planned Ukraine War Study. My research focus and analysis included current global and interagency security cooperation and assistance, Ukrainian and Russian combat operations, and efficacy of current NATO deterrence efforts.

As a researcher with the Coastal Virginia CCI Cybersecurity Undergraduate Research Program spring 2023 cohort, I used my background in international relations to examine the role of cyberthreats in states undergoing democratic backsliding. My work was primarily focused on analyzing the relationship between regime type and cyberthreat usage through conducting a variety of case studies focused on disinformation and information control, malware attacks, and digital surveillance networks.

I tutored middle and elementary school students in language arts and math virtually and in-person. Over the summers I developed original curriculum and led group classes.

I led MYAB over two independently elected terms, managing subcommittees focused on youth homelessness, advocacy, community involvement, educational support, and other issues impacting youth in my hometown. I created agendas for meetings with both board members and the executive team, and communicated with the city staff liaison and mayor/councilpersons. I also spearheaded planning for community-wide events to connect youth with personal, academic, and social resources and opportunities.

As a member of my city's Mayor's Youth Advisory Board (MYAB) I provided my perspective on public works projects, initiatives impacting youth, and policies central to families and the younger generation. I also worked on focus projects to improve the youth experience in my city. As a representative of MYAB I had the privilege of attending the National League of Cities Conference in Washington, DC in March 2020 with my city's delegation.

I led my school chapter of the Oregon Model United Nations organization. I taught delegates how to write papers focusing on policy analysis and recommendations in global affairs while accurately representing their assigned country. I also served as Committee Chair for the General Assembly at the Winter and Spring Oregon Model UN Conferences in 2021.

As Vice President of my school's Model UN chapter I managed club members, prepared meeting agendas, and assisted with conference preparation.

I was a delegate from my school's MUN chapter for the Human Rights Committee and Environmental Committee at in-person and virtual conferences over two years.

I managed 200+ NHS members at my high school to ensure volunteer hour requirements were met, directed the chapter to focus on providing free online tutoring to high school and middle school students during 2020-2021 online school year, and led the executive board to implement in-person volunteer events/projects post-September 2021.

I was the Junior Representative on my school's NHS executive board. I helped plan volunteer opportunities for members and ensure tasks were completed on time.

I assisted in leading my school chapter of the Oregon Health & Science University satellite Science Ambassadors program. To improve science knowledge and spark curiosity in elementary school students, I led the program virtually during the 2021-22 school year to continue our operations. As VP I helped manage 40+ high school mentors to ensure they could have the best experience with our mentees.

As secretary I communicated with parents for in-person and virtual meetings with 30+ 4th and 5th grade mentees from the elementary school next to my high school. I ensured the mentees knew what science labs they would be doing with their high school mentors and cultivated an environment where students felt excited to learn.

I was a mentor for a 4th grade mentee and taught science concepts in a school lab setting.

As an intern with Next Up, a non-profit advocacy organization, I focused on their youth vote initiative to expand voter registration and civic knowledge in the younger generation. I delivered presentations to 360+ high-school students at ten schools across Oregon with the goal of registering or pre-registering youth voters, and surpassed personal and team registration goals.
