Work and life experiences have given me this amazing resilient outlook on life, and the skill sets to be a leader. I chose not to be a female leader by presenting myself as cold, defensive, or mean which is now seen as being "tough" and climbing the corporate ladder. Instead, I choose to be a female leader by being positive and spreading enthusiasm, excitement, and a role model to those wanting to achieve greatness through positivity and passion. I will always be genuine from day one.I will always keep a work-life balance by traveling, taking vacations, and time for myself as well as work. If I'm offered 10 days of vacation a year I will take every single day of that! Life is too short not to spend it with those you love and having fun every single day. I teach students about work/life balance every month in my student success seminars titled: Happiness, Stress Reduction, Self-compassion, Relationships, Health and Well-Being, and Creativity and Critical Thinking. I believe to be a competent master of knowledge on each of these topics that I teach thousands of students in person each year of my career. My career is at Full Sail University, and I have no plans to leave this company unless the opportunity to leave something good in the world that will last beyond my lifespan comes up or an opportunity to live a more fulfilled life for me and my family in every aspect is presented! Full Sail has an amazingly creative and positive culture that I need to thrive. I left for one year and missed it so much that I applied to come back. That experience has really put into perspective just how fortunate I am to be a part of a workplace that prides itself on having a culture and Community, and I need that moving forward in my career. I believe in finishing what I start, living with passion, change is good, acting on opportunities, supporting others in their dreams, and being kinder than is necessary to everyone.
