Oversee the delivery of oncology mental health psycho-social services, education and health and wellness programs to over 1,300 people a year affected by cancer within six counties in Central NJ. As the chief fundraiser, develops programs to increase revenue, cultivate major donors and strategic partnerships across all stakeholder groups.

Oversaw a $1.75 MM in assets, directed a staff of five leaders and more than 600 volunteers serving 320,000 residents. Successfully led the chapter through three multi-million dollar national disasters and sheltering thousands of residents within New Jersey. Developed business plans to drive the creation and implementation of several key initiatives, including the launch of a major gifts program, and an account management program to drive health and safety sales and blood donations. Collaborated with the board of directors to transform the leadership team’s culture and build major gifts fundraising skills. Established annual board expectations and realized a 100% increase in board contributions. Implemented a strategic planning process to engage and align the board and staff and expand the reach of programs and services. Achieved a significant growth in volunteer nurses that were needed to support expanding efforts within disaster response, community preparedness and public health education. Initiative was recognized by the Red Cross National Nursing Committee as a key strategic initiative for the organization. Chapter was selected to implement the national Red Cross Ready When the Time Comes volunteer engagement program. This led to an increase in revenues and the establishment of disaster reserve volunteers through corporate and faith-based partnerships, which were highlighted as a key success story within Red Cross.
