Serves as Subject Matter Expert on Youth Action Campaign (YAC); International Humanitarian Law (IHL); or Restoring Family Links (RFL) Responsible for designing and managing Process/Workflow Management Documents Including flow charts, process sheets, training documents, orientation plans, “How To” documents, best practices, etc. Responsible for Subject Matter Expert Advice, bringing personal knowledge of how programs can be better managed in the regions. Advise and develop workflows for the primary processes within YAC, IHL, and RFL. Leverage existing documentation and development of missing resources. Team Collaboration in project management methodology to better understand and appropriately manage timely development of project deliverables.

Work with group to identify gaps in resources, develop a centralized site, create and develop resources with the objective to create a toolkit for SAF Casework Supervisors.

Workgroup focused on the entirety of casework including training, policy & guidance, preparation for RC Care, interim needs to keep the current SAF Agent environment working optimally until RC Care arrives.

- Supports the delivery of American Red Cross programs and services to meet the needs of United States military members, veterans and their families in accordance with Red Cross policies and procedures. Responsibilities:1. Relationship Management Support and Community Outreach: Supports building relationships with military leadership, key organizations and community leaders. Cultivates relationships and partnerships with external constituents in the local community, including government organizations, corporate partners, civic organizations and other community charitable and nonprofit agencies with the purpose of furthering the mission of the Red Cross. Outreach includes command meetings, education briefings, presentations or information sessions.2. Volunteer Management Support: Supports a volunteer program to meet the workforce model and to enable delivery of SAF programs and services. Assists in the supervision of volunteer staff. Works closely with Regional Volunteer Services to develop and implement strategic regional SAF volunteer program. Helps ensure volunteer staff ratio reflects the diversity of the population being served. 3. Service Delivery: Ensures the delivery of SAF core services to all clients within their jurisdiction. Supports the other lines of ARC service to ensure the delivery of Preparedness, Health and Safety Services training, disaster preparedness and response, and Red Cross Blood Services. Services may include use of case management system, presenting briefings, collection of data, providing needed materials, and outreach within the community.4. Reporting & Admin Support: Monitors and reports on the outcomes and results of programs and services to ensure organizational accountability and makes recommendations for continuous improvement to ensure metrics are consistently met.

Provide emergency communication services over the phone and through a case management system to military members and immediate family members when family emergencies occur. Maintain appropriate professional documentation for client records within the case management system. Making in-person connections with family members of service members. Engage military families through the Family Contact Card, providing opportunity for the Red Cross to prepare families for military life, ensure that families are connected to the Hero Care Network. Build relationships and partnerships in the local communities of San Diego and Imperial Counties

Greet and welcome club members and guests. Screen all persons entering the property. Find solutions to guest or client inconveniences.

Managed 15 Red Cross Volunteers with The Pillowcase Project. Trained and developed each volunteer with the necessary knowledge required to give presentations. Presented briefings to 3rd and 5th grade students of up to an audience of 500 persons about emergency preparedness and coping skills during emergencies. Worked directly with District Superintendents and School Principals in scheduling and coordinating presentations at their schools.

Acted immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an emergency. Assisted at assigned events at the orders of the Commanding Officer of the Naval Air Facility. Supervised Aquatics and Fitness staff on weekends.
