I currently serve as the Early Care & Education Program Manager for the Northeast Region at the Low Income Investment Fund. I hold a master's degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from Baruch College's Marxe School of International and Public Affairs, as well as a bachelor's degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from the University of Connecticut. My passions include helping children and families reach their full potential, supporting early childhood leaders in their work, and advocating for racial equity and social justice. I also volunteer as Chief Strategy Officer for Unified Asian Communities, supporting Asian and Asian American communities in Maine.Previously, I worked as a Special Projects Coordinator for the NYC Division of Early Childhood Education Program Operations Team, facilitating trainings for Early Childhood Educators throughout the city.I also served as a Specialized Caregiver and as a Certified Early Intervention Specialist, where I advocated for children and their families, provided developmental and communication therapy services, and helped transition little ones into preschool programs with the service plans they needed.In my free time, I like spending time with family and friends, volunteering and "soul projects," watching cool shows and movies, going to rallies and protests, going to concerts, reading, listening to music, and dancing!
