About Amy Leisner

I'm a creative director, copywriter, & marketing strategist with over 11 years of experience. But let’s hit rewind for a minute and go back to the mid-2000’s👇🏼When I moved to LA from Wisconsin in 2008, my first job was as a traveling preschool dance teacher, which is where I discovered the magic of marketing. I learned that when my marketing materials were on point, more kids signed up for my classes. So I decided to go back to school for advertising, and all it took was one viewing of the documentary "Art & Copy" to know that I'm a naturally gifted copywriter, and that should be my career. After graduation, I started out as an in-house content creator for a dance apparel company. I managed their social media, blogs, emails, and product descriptions. From there, I transitioned to agency life, where I started off as a social media manager and then as a copywriter in charge of big-vision branding concepts, SEO blogs, emails, website copy, social media content, and content marketing strategy. Over the span of my career I've worked with a variety of clients and worn every hat imaginable, including client-facing tasks and project management.Because I have experience working in-house, at an agency full-time, and as a freelancer, I have learned to be extremely adaptable.
