Assistant Office Manager
Current• Directs, organizes, supervises, and coordinates administrative staff in several sub-units across multiple locations• Instructs and advises employees on how to draft and file all legal documents following court procedures• Calculates and updates office budget to reflect salary changes, longevity pay, promotions, demotions, and severance pay• Updates office goals, objectives, division and department submissions• Analyzes, organizes, and keeps accurate records of office operations and procedures• Interviews, screens, recommends, and prepares paperwork for potential new hires• Attends highly confidential meetings and handles disputes • Maintains paper and electronic personnel files and databases of all current and former employees• Prepares and submits payroll transmittal to county office for review and approval • Prepares reports for attorneys on their open, pending, and overdue cases as well as reports for the Office of the Attorney General regarding crime statistics, types, and dispositions• Coordinates with county facilities for any renovations or repairs needed on office properties • Provides leadership and direction on specific goal oriented task forces as directed by supervising management
