I have over 18 years of experience in the financial field and over 10 years’ experience in the construction office field. I am currently working as a Bookkeeping and Payroll Specialist at a CPA firm in Brandon, Florida. I enjoy working with numbers and I have been told I am a very organized person. I am currently responsible for the preparation of bank reconciliations, general ledger write-ups utilizing QuickBooks or Accounting CS. I am responsible for preparing Complied Financial Statements, providing QuickBooks training to clients as required, and processing payroll for clients using Intuit Online Payroll. I am also responsible for the preparation of sales tax filings for clients on a monthly and quarterly basis. Prior to this role, I worked as the Office Manager at a Commercial Plumbing Contractor in Tampa Bay. I was involved in the startup of West Coast Plumbing Services, Inc. in 2008. I worked with the owner to setup the company name, legal structure, bank accounts, licenses and permits. During the time I worked for West Coast Plumbing Services, Inc., I was also working for Bank of America. I enjoy being busy and being able to multi-task to get the job done.Initially, my first professional employment was with Bank of America in 1997. I went from working part-time in a banking center to working full-time as a Senior Teller assisting the Teller Manager as needed. I was responsible for training new tellers and acting as a point of contact for all tellers for vault responsibilities, scheduling and auditing. In 2008 I transferred within Bank of America to work as a Research and Adjustments Representative. I was responsible for reviewing, processing and researching requests associated with domestic and international transactions for consumer and business customers. I enjoyed solving the issues presented daily and going beyond for the customers with the resolution.
