Un poco sobre mí:I'm an incredibly multifaceted and dedicated creative with a passion for science, boundless curiosity, and am well-versed in event coordination, project management, science communications, educational outreach, web design, and social media marketing. My favorite example of my powers combined was when I created, executed, and hosted a successful and educational event called "Wino & Dino", pairing wine with fossils, at a winery and event space in downtown Chicago - selling over 100 tickets! Oh, and I pitched all of this while working as a volunteer in their accounting office. I also spent the last decade dissecting human bodies for medical education, so I consider myself rather detail-oriented. I'm highly organized and diligent with a systematic approach to handling sensitive materials and inventory, conducting assessments and improving workflow, and designing new protocols. Working in numerous industries, from hospitality and whole body donation to higher education and hospitals, I'm also adaptable to a wide array of working environments.And as a queer Mexican American with Native heritage, I offer cultural awareness and Indigenous LGBTQ representation - I work to amplify community voices, not speak for them. Overall, my extensive background in anatomy and sociology, with my continued work in death studies, offers a broad scope on the human condition from both the scientific and social perspectives.
