Revitalization Specialist In Preservation & Non-Profit Resource Development
CurrentFacilitate annual work plan and fundraising plan development with board, staff and partners of local MainStreet programs and Frontier Communities, beginning with pre-planning assessment of the organization and its work, and resulting in a detailed planning documentFacilitate community meetings with local MainStreet programs and Frontier Communities, producing detailed notes and recommendations for continued community engagementConduct annual assessments with local MainStreet programs, including review of compliance documents and self-assessment community surveys, facilitation of on-site meetings with local municipal representatives, partners and MainStreet board and staff, and production of annual reports reviewing program accomplishments and making recommendations for enhancement of organizational and programmatic workDevelop and present a variety of trainings for staff, board and volunteers of local MainStreet programs and Frontier Communities, including Grant Writing Training Series, Fundraising Training Series, Volunteer Development training, Capital Outlay Grant Application & Project Management session, Non-Profit Compliance with NMMS session, Mapping Your District Assets session, Asset Mapping & Mobilization webinar, Using Instagram to Market Your Business or Organization session, and others as neededParticipate in strategic discussions and planning for the overall organizational and programmatic direction of the state MainStreet programProvide general organizational development assistance and support to local MainStreet programs, NMMS Accelerator designees, and Project-Based InitiativesServe as a liaison for NMMS, providing appropriate communication and coordination of common legislative strategies with the New Mexico Coalition of MainStreet Communities, a legislative advocacy group comprised representing NMMS programs
