Is mental health at work important to you?It is to me.Looking out for our mental health and well-being is not a ‘nice to have,’ it’s fundamental to our ability to live life to the full and to give of our best. It demands proactive attention and equal status at work. Is confidence in our ability to speak up for ourselves and speak out for others important to you?It is to me. When we work in an environment that encourages us to be our whole-selves, it gives us the confidence to say ‘no’ when we need to; to say ‘I need help’ when we are struggling and to say, ‘how are you really doing?’ when we notice someone is struggling.Curiosity is crucial. Do you ever wonder what the business world would look like, if we woke up tomorrow morning and the miracle had happened - mental health at work had strategic priority in every workplace? I do.My work’s focus over the last 15 years has been on mental health at work. With a background in theatre and education, coaching, NLP, mediation and business, my work fuses these skills.
