As an Active Member f the ULI Transit Oriented Development Product Council, I am engaged with several industry professionals in detailed conversations and educational sessions focused on TODs around the world. Involvement in the 2022 Spring and Fall Meetings as a Guest Member led me to submit my application to the TOD Council and allowed me to easily accept their offer to join. I am looking forward to engaging discussions!

As an active member both nationally and locally, I am thrilled to lead a group of local professionals to develop strong content at the local chapter programs/meetings. I was a committee member for a few years before being asked to co-lead the team.

The Board of Visitors assists the Department of Fire Protection Engineering in gaining recognition and support as a leader in fire protection engineering education and research. Members provide the chair and department leadership with objective information and intellectual stimulation, advising on a wide range of issues that include strategic planning, corporate relations, fund raising initiatives, communications strategies and other opportunities. As knowledgeable and dedicated advocates of the department, members help attract and engage a diverse group of supporters and serve as liaisons between the department, industry, government and other academic institutions

The Curriculum Advisory Committee (CAC) of the Department of Fire Protection Engineering was formed in 1999, with the stated goals as follows:"The overall goal of this committee is to provide authoritative focus to ensure that the knowledge and skills taught in the FPE curricula meet the present and future expectations of employees and students alike. The objectives include establishing a uniform and focused method to track recommendations, assessments of existing and proposed curriculum changes, recommendations of new courses and their content, and ensuring top-notch academic standards.”

Fulfilling the Conference Chair role in 2016, my new role includes leading and guiding the ICSC CenterBuild Program Planning Committee to ensure that the CenterBuild conference is a success. Working with a group of 40+ architects, engineers, retailers, developers, and contractors, we do our best to plan a great conference for the retail design and construction industry.

ICC (ASC) A117.1 Consensus Committee on Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities, also recognized as ANSI Committee A117 on Architectural Features and Site Design of Public Buildings and Residential Structures for Persons with Disabilities, is a committee consisting of multiple experts in the access community whose scope is defined as:Site design and architectural features affecting the accessibility and usability of buildings and facilities, consideration to be given to all types of physical and sensory disabilities to publicly used buildings and facilities and to residential structures.

Participated as a volunteer Fire Fighter from August 1994 - Summer 1996. Summer 1996 - June 1998 partcipated as a volunteer EMT.

During the summer of my Sophmore year at the University of Maryland, College Park School of Engineering, I interned with Rolf Jensen & Associates. Roles included code consultation and some design reviews.

Began as a Junior member of the OWL VFD in my sophomore year of high school. Quickly became an IFSTA certified Fire Fighter II. Headquartered at Station 2, known as "The Deuce", ran calls mainly on the Rescue Squad and the pumper when it needed a FFII for dispatch.Extremely active mainly through high school ('92-'94), on the weekends occasionally in early years of college.
