I love collaborating to find creative solutions, digging into customer perspective and analytics for insights, embracing changing markets and technology to drive better business outcomes. I especially enjoy the Retail industry - it gives immediate, tangible feedback from field employees and customers. It is a meaningful reminder of our purpose when we can see the customer experience come to life in our stores, on digital platforms and in our marketing messages. I have spent half my career in strategic roles and half in operations roles. I have been given development opportunities resulting in steady promotions and new learning experiences. I have launched a sales force, several products and rolled out cultural initiatives. I have managed a revenue stream as a merchant and a cost line leading labor management, as well as culture initiatives in HR and transformational strategy. I was fortunate to be part of crafting the transformation for the Staples retail business from an office supply warehouse to a customer-driven, value-add Working & Learning company. In my final role there, I was overseeing Marketing & Strategy, my team and I brought deep insights and strategic vision to how the brand comes to life, across every marketing asset and customer touchpoint to provide the best experience that addresses customers needs. Now I am thrilled to be part of Advantage Solutions, leading the global CDS business in 12 countries. We bring value to Costco and its members as well as suppliers through the power of product sampling and demonstrations, data-driven operations and sales insights.
