I work with curious and courageous people who are ready for change in their lives, their work and their very way of being on this planet. Have you ever asked yourself, “What else?” or “What next?” or “What if I…?” Are you ready to take on working or living in a whole new way? Looking to show up differently in relationships or situations to get to a different result? These are some of my favorite things! I bring my experience with me - I have worked in leadership positions in both the private and nonprofit sector over the last 20 years, in industries from construction to wholesale food production and food service to social services. In key relationships, as part of a team, as a boss and as a human, I’ve learned how to show up as the real me, how to get out of my own way and what it means to live a life of purpose and joy.

I teach Financial Management and Financial Analysis to leaders in the nonprofit sector working towards creating a just and humane world. We look at the importance of financially strong organizations and what that means, how to shift from avoiding or fearing financial data to embracing it confidently as a tool for change and how existing financial structures are part of an oppressive system designed to keep things status quo and only allow certain voices into the financial conversation. Financial savvy = tools for revolution! Some people might think that nonprofit finance is boring...but not in my classes!

Senior level executive responsible for the oversight of all accounting, IT, facilities and administration staff and functions. Led risk management, treasury and investment activities, compliance, budgeting and forecasting process, reporting and analysis and participated as a senior advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors on business and strategic planning. Served as interim CEO during CEO’s leave.

Worked as a volunteer and then as a paid employee for this affordable housing non-profit as I worked to transition to and understand the nonprofit sector in both their Fundraising and Finance departments.
