Amy currently leads the environmental sustainability team in the City of Fort Collins, where the sustainability service area is organized with a triple bottom line focus on economic, social and environmental health, leading with equity first. Amy provides leadership to the development and implementation of the policies, programs, and services that equitably advance the Council’s and the community’s priorities on sustainability, air quality, climate, waste reduction, community engagement, meaningful performance measurement, and supporting the organization in leading by example to achieve its own sustainability goals.

Identified a need for sustainability leadership in the growing flexible workspace industry and moved to Texas to launch realize vision for an inclusive triple bottom line focused coworking brand.Incubated triple bottom line principles into the growing businesses in our community through education and example. Built the first LEED Gold certified coworking space in the world focused on inclusive sustainability, powered by solar, voted "Best Coworking Space in Dallas" through Dallas Morning News for 2022. In its founding years, I was responsible for the year-round management of SILVERDOCS (100 films, 21,000 attendees, outdoor concerts & screenings, 70 conference sessions, 30 seasonal staff and $1.2 million annual budget). Worked closely with the CSR team at Discovery.I played a key role in leading SILVERDOCS to become the pre-eminent documentary festival in North America in collaboration with founding sponsor, Discovery Communications and other senior AFI leadership.I built a collaborative exchange with the documentary filmmaker and festival community, representing AFI at international film festivals and markets. I managed corporate in-kind sponsorships and media partnerships, securing over $100k in in-kind support annually. I developed the SILVERDOCS sustainability initiative in 2007, making SILVERDOCS the first carbon-neutral documentary festival in North America.

Supervised and managed large film crew, tracked million dollar budgets, liaised between client and director; supervised post-production. Projects at Palomar + Other Production Cos Included: Moby/Gwen Stefani, DeLaSoul, Aimee Mann, Tom Petty, Missy Elliott, and many more.Produced VH1 Promos for VH1 programs and special shows, such as Divas Las Vegas. Produced live event and filmmaker PR during HBO Comedy Arts annual festival in Aspen. After leaving advertising in NY, freelanced as agency Producer for LA based shoots.

Over the course of 3 years, I worked summers and holidays for Congressman Byron Dorgan from North Dakota, then 1 year as he transitioned to the US Senate. My favorite project was working with an elderly indigenous citizen on land rights issues. I also regularly supported the LCs (Legislative Correspondents).
