About Amy Lynch

Hi, I'm Amy and I believe everyone deserves to design a life that works for them and their family.I've worked in contract, flexible and remote roles spanning the business, technology, education, arts and creative industries, as both an employee and a freelance contractor in Canada, Australia, Ireland and England over the past two decades. I'm a mum of three Irish-Canadian kids and started working remotely in 2014 to have more location freedom.Who knew bringing my babies into biz settings and events when I became a parent overseas–blogging and posting about it on social media–would lead to all of this!?🎢 ✅ RESULTS:After many eye-opening, frustrating, awkward, messy and sweaty pitches, presentations, meetings, events and encounters in corporate spaces alongside our three kids over the years, I'm proud of the small part my family and I have played in creating positive progress:🚼 Baby change facilities installed in startup spaces. 👀 Stages stood on and spoken from, while babywearing and/or breastfeeding. 📊 Business events hosted in startup and social innovation spaces while babies, toddlers and school age kids explored pop-up play areas.🔊 Podcasts recorded during lunch, naptime, school and playtime windows, edited and released from my home studio on the virtual airwaves (Seasons 1–6 streaming now). 💸 Seasonal and event sponsorships secured to cover basic operations to produce low-to-no-cost entrepreneurship resources for parents.📣 Representatives from all levels of Canadian government met and spoken with as a changemaker focused on creating safe spaces for parents and their families, through StartupGov's programming.📮UPCOMING PROJECTSIf you’re interested in my creative or flexible work, please do get in touch!☎️ Book a call: tidycal.com/amymaureenlynch/quick-connection-call➡️ Previous clients: amymaureenlynch.com/media🔊 Tune in: mixingbabiesandbusiness.com/podcastAside from the above:• I've authored my first book 'Startup Blogging: Validate A Business Idea and Build Your Audience' (2020) to help others creating solutions in public;• Am writing a second book about my own experiences as a parent, focused on entrepreneurship, flexible and remote work with kids (2024);• Produce digital resources and presentations for parents who are also leaders, entrepreneurs and creatives; and • Create handbuilt ceramics and art prints, selling via local gallery boutiques, markets and privately in Canada.✨ Thank you for reading – keep showing up (with your kids). I'll be here cheering you on!– Amy (+ family)
