Develop and maintain a system of accounting policies and procedures for all accounting functions including cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, etc. Includes maintaining a system of controls for all transactions.Maintain an ongoing cash flow analysis and manage the bank accounts and loans. Process remittances in compliance with various provincial and federal government reporting requirements.Prepare information for external auditors for annual review.Play a key role in the internal audit function of the organization ensuring compliance to internal policies and external regulations Issue timely and complete financial reports for management, financial institutions and other stakeholders on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Facilitate the production of annual budgets and forecasts.Provide coaching, guidance and mentorship to members of the Accounting Team.
