Solutions Manager responsible for building business-IT relationships and executing against program initiatives within the Business Intelligence, Big Data and Telephony domains.

Led large programs within the Professional Services Organization; focusing on multi-million dollar client accounts. Implemented contact center solutions for large clients such as Kaiser Permanente.

Managed and developed 30+ full-time application developers, architects and data modelers for a not-for-profit national organization while serving a user base of 2,000+ internal customers. Responsible for supporting the needs of the enterprise’s entire customer community while promoting the organization’s vision, Members for Life. Revamped the data warehouse program by re-engineering 20-year-old data warehouse implementations with the organization’s new data strategy. Orchestrated and designed strategies to reduce data warehouse builds by 60% which were successfully deployed within 6 months. Designed and deployed application enhancements which involved multiple application interfaces and infrastructure teams. Effectively orchestrated resources and deliverables across 60+ concurrent projects while supporting 24x7 production availability and PCI/MAR compliance. Implemented technology solutions for mainframe applications, client-server applications and e-business solutions.

Provided day-to-day technical leadership to software developers, ETL developers and business analysts. Responsible for end-to-end architecture and design on all new customer and financial projects using n-tier architecture. Led major data integration projects which involved analyzing and incorporating complex external data for millions of customers and insureds. Re-architected mainframe legacy systems to use service-oriented architecture and table-driven business rules; eliminating redundancy and improving transparency. Designed technical solutions which were scalable and adaptable to future business demands. Redefined the IT Service Request process and earned a nomination for the company’s highest honor; the Cheshire Award of Excellence.

Partnered with business unit executives to create and implement a customer relationship management solution which required changing business- critical applications as well as expanding the data warehouse. Enabled customer-facing employees to provide better service to customers through system enhancements and more comprehensive customer data. Exceeded project expectations by actively managing project resources, schedules, budgets and communication plans. Selected by the CIO to lead a professionalism taskforce which resulted in rewarding employees for demonstrating behaviors that promoted integrity, honor and respect for one another.

Developed mainframe online and batch programs and processes which supported the Membership and customer point-of-service systems. Implemented the first data warehouse interfaces from source systems using flat file processing. During this timeframe, I took on increasing responsibility and was promoted for my ability to deliver quality code and consistently exceed customer expectations. Responsible for application code development, test plans, user acceptance testing, deployment and implementation plans.

Enabled dreams to come true by planning trips around the world for AAA members and customers, which led to achieving top sales recognition in the company three times during my career. Prior to accepting the Information Technology opportunity (1 of 9 individuals); I was also selected to work on a Travel Agency Redesign team which implemented business process efficiencies and added to overall productivity.
