Recent cases include representing an owner of real property in a dispute with the tenant over an option agreement; representing the purchasers of a company in a breach of contract action; and representing an employee being sued by a former employer for a purported breach of a non-compete.Amy is also an experienced appellate lawyer and has written numerous appellate briefs, including in the Arizona, California, and Colorado appellate courts and the Ninth, Fifth, Tenth, and Seventh Circuits on subjects ranging from landlord-tenant, family law, and consumer rights to employment and class certification decisions. Amy also provides local counsel services to out-of-state firms. She is licensed in Arizona and California.

In addition to her work at the Wilkins Law Firm, Amy was of counsel to Coppersmith Brockelman. She represented clients in business litigation, class action defense, securities litigation, and appeals.

At Hagens Berman, Amy represented plaintiffs in nationwide class actions. Hagens Berman was appointed lead counsel in the Toyota Rapid Acceleration Multi-District Litigation, and Amy worked directly with lead counsel on this case. She worked on several other cases involving serious consumer safety issues such as airbag deployment against major automobile manufacturers. As an attorney at Hagens Berman, Amy was able to refine her appellate practice by filing briefs in several federal and state courts on complicated issues.

At Lewis and Roca, Amy focused her practice on commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense, and employment matters as well as securities litigation and government investigations. Representative cases included defense of an Arizona Corporation Commission investigation of a company offering private placements of securities, defense of a local start-up company in employment issues, and the successful appeal of a deportation order in the Ninth Circuit.

At Steptoe & Johnson, Amy worked on commercial litigation and employment matters, including defending a nationwide class action brought against a major retailer for labor and employment issues and working on an action involving a state-wide fraud against investors in a church.

At Kirkland & Ellis in Los Angeles, Amy worked on commercial litigation matters including a dispute over a purchase of a television station involving hundreds of millions in consequential damages and the defense of a nationwide class action involving credit card debt.
