WHAT I DO: I work with building owners and facility managers to develop customized solutions to meet their facility needs, while improving the energy efficiency and operation of their facilities. My emphasis has been on overseeing design, energy use analysis, energy and operational cost savings calculations, and evaluating options to determine project feasibility in terms of life-cycle costs and savings. I also engage in the coordination with utility partners to secure customer rebates for energy efficiency improvements. I have built and overseen teams of project developers, construction managers, project managers, and contractors to ensure that projects are being developed and constructed on schedule and within budget, all while achieving lasting energy efficiency and operational benefits.WHY I DO WHAT I DO: I enjoy working directly with building owners and facility managers to understand their mission and how improving their facilities can help them achieve this mission. I like the challenges of coordinating complex mechanical, electrical, and control systems to deliver high performing, low energy-using facilities, while still maintaining a quality environment. WHO I AM: I am an engineer with 30+ years of experience in mechanical design, and building and managing teams of engineers and construction management staff to develop and deliver high quality solutions for clients. I place a strong emphasis on quality and believe the key to success is focusing on meeting clients’ needs. My work experiences have given me insight into varying points of view which results in a positive effect on project teams and work atmosphere.When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to Royals’ games, travelling, gardening and practicing yoga.
