About Amy N. Hendricks

Administrative professional with experience in higher ed, non-profit, and marketing settings. I currently work as the executive assistant at the Denver Foundation, a community foundation working to achieve a Metro Denver that is racially equitable in its leadership, prosperity, and culture. I provide support to the President and CEO as well as the Board of Trustees.I also support the History of Cartography Project, a research, editorial, and publishing venture drawing international attention to the history of maps and mapping. My responsibilities include proofreading publications and marketing materials, managing office correspondence, and general office administration.Finally, I hold a PhD from the University of Wisconsin–Madison (August 2020). My dissertation focused on literary descriptions of the chorus in archaic Greek poetry. I have taught Latin, Women and Gender in the Ancient World, a writing intensive class on the Greeks, and other college courses.
