Animal Care Expo – The largest annual animal welfare educational conference and trade show. In 2020 we launched a virtual version to nearly 5,000 registrants. Shelter and Rescue Partner Program - Nearly 400 shelters and rescues partner with us to take in animals from disasters, cruelty cases, struggling shelters and closures of puppy mills and dog meat farms.Humane Policy Volunteers – HSUS volunteers are at the forefront of our efforts to build an even stronger platform of protection for all animals by advancing priority federal, state and local animal protection policies and helping educate the public. Spayathon for Puerto Rico – An unprecedented coalition of 26 organizations including PetSmart Charities, Petco Foundation, GreaterGood and Banfield Foundation to provide high quality/high volume spay/neuter services on the island of Puerto Rico. To date, nearly 50,000 surgeries have been performed. Animal Care Expo – The largest annual animal welfare educational conference and trade show. More than 2,800 attendees, 200 speakers, 85 workshops and over $1M in sponsorship and exhibitor revenue. K-9 Support is a 501c3 charity dedicated to supporting working and service dogs of all kinds. The original purpose was to collect donations and supplies to send care packages to military dogs stationed around the world. To date we have sent over 2 tons of care packages to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. We have since expanded the purpose of K9 Support and now support a variety of service and working dog programs and charities. Since our founding in 2005 we have collected over $200,000 in donations, the large majority of which was raised at our annual Dog Wash events. This year we celebrated our 11th annual Dog Wash and the money raised went to Paws With A Cause to support their service dog training program for disabled veterans. https://www.pawswithacause.org/
