Some people build careers. I’ve been fortunate enough to craft a life driven by purpose, discovery, and the pursuit of meaningful change. Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of leading large-scale research initiatives in both international development and healthcare, covering areas like education, human rights, disability inclusion, social protection, climate change, cancer, and nutrition. Throughout this journey, I’ve worked closely with leading figures in academia, policy, and business, translating complex challenges into actionable insights.As someone who has led diverse teams, I take pride in the strategic foresight, people management, and stakeholder engagement that has defined my work. Whether managing donor relationships or steering multi-year research programs, my goal has always been to deliver meaningful impact with precision and care.This last year, however, presented me with a different challenge—one of the most personal and profound I’ve faced. My battle with cancer forced me to pause, reflect, and re-evaluate. Today, I am on the road to recovery, and that experience has only strengthened my commitment to the work I do, giving me a renewed sense of purpose and clarity.Now, as I embark on a new chapter, I aim to continue leading impactful research projects that not only challenge me but also align with my deeper values. As I turn the page to this next phase, I am stepping into a space where my professional passions and personal reflections intersect. I aim to focus on selected research projects that challenge me intellectually, but also to explore deeper questions about living a life filled with meaning. Recovery has given me a new perspective, one that I hope will enrich both my work and my relationships with others. It has renewed my interest in exploring broader questions around how we can craft lives filled with meaning, joy, and resilience.
