As part of the Chia Bia events team I have worked at various local and national events, festivals, and customer instore sampling events. This activity would entail me travelling to an event or customer store, setting up a tasting table or larger set-up depending on event size and engaging with consumers. This role requires great communication skills and a strong knowledge of the Chia Bia story and product range. I would regularly engage customers for photos and videos with the product and post photos and videos live from events. Creativity is a must in order to catch the eye of consumers.

I have worked as a Brand Ambassador for the Treacle Events team in Ireland. I have done promotional work for clients such as Champion Sports and Irish Life Health. These roles required me to meet the clients brief and to organise in-house promotional work which included interacting with customers, increasing brand awareness, along with sales.

Luxe Room Boutique was a start-up when I joined the small team. My role was to set up and manage both a Facebook and Twitter account. A keen eye for fashion and photography was essential for this role. As this was a start-up my role wasn't restricted to social media. I also dealt with customer queries, incoming and outgoing orders, and sales all while providing an excellent customer service.

Shortly after completing my final examinations in Dublin City University I took up my role as a waitress in Bowes Cafe & Food Hall. It was a newly established eatery at the time and a very fast paced working environment which required me to be a team player and adapt quickly to deal with any challenges that arose throughout the working day. I received Barista training and my role comprised of serving food and drinks while providing an excellent customer service.

Mount Juliet is a highly reputable establishment; in particular its 18 hole Jack Nicklaus golf course. Mount Juliet golf has hosted several major golfing events and as a golf shop assistant it was important to uphold its outstanding reputation. My day-to-day requirements as golf shop employee included operating the BRS system, which involves booking and the timetables of green fees; handling green fee's; engaging with customers and assisting them in their purchases of golf clothing and golf equipment; engaging with golfers and meeting their requirements for their round of golf e.g organising golf buggies, golf trollies, rental clubs, and any other requirements that they may have. On days when there was a large group outing on the course it was necessary to meet all of their booking requirements e.g rental items required, goody bags, food and beverages and golf prizes. I also played a key role in major golfing events held during the summer months - one such event was our Captains Prize event. My role was to ensure the smooth running of operations and to attend to the golfers, ensuring all of their requests and needs for the outing were met.
