Developed scheduling system to work with the Knowlegis legislative database to coordinate over 900 Congressional meetings for Academy members’ Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. Worked closely with the Academy’s Federal Affairs staff to edit advocacy materials related to legislation on Medicare and Medicaid, scope of practice issues, and children’s vision bills.

Collaborated with EWIS team assigned to Senate requests concerning the efficiency of the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) field offices across the country. Interviewed SSA officials at field offices in the tri-state area, audited confidential reports, performed data analysis, and composed progress summaries on a daily basis.

Assisted with the planning and execution, including fundraising initiatives, for the University of Michigan's Fantasy Football Experience with Coach Lloyd Carr on August 2-3, 2007. The event raised over $250,000 for prostate cancer research at the University of Michigan's Department of Urology.Selected to be one of 17 students to participate in the first-ever Development Summer Internship Program at the University of Michigan.
