Assist faculty at the Rightpath Research & Innovation Center in the conduction of various educational research projects, under the general direction of Dr. Jason Anthony. Coordinate research activities with local schools, preschools, and team of data collectors to ensure accurate and efficient data collection. Oversee and train data collectors and graduate assistants and assist with questions and resolution of issues, including troubleshooting with IT resources. Communicate progress and needs across stakeholders, including PI, support staff, school personnel, and research participants. Develop and manage testing schedules, data collector availability, calendar invites, communication, and progress through MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word, and texts. Administer language, literacy, and math assessments to school-aged children using computer equipment, table-top easels, and engagement strategies. Collect data samples using computer equipment and paper record booklets. Complete raw and standard scoring and quality control procedures before entering data into REDCap and Riverside Score databases. Constantly monitor and assess accuracy of data collection and materials. Maintain detailed research records, hours worked by data collector team, field notes, process documentation, and materials inventory. Contribute to research materials such as classroom demographic surveys and parent informational letters. Revise training manuals and procedural documents as needed. Provide detailed progress reports to faculty in weekly Project Management meetings and as needed.
