As the Regional Compliance Manager I am responsible for taking actions that secure and protect investments by reducing vacancy loss, fulfilling financing requirements and maximizing returns on the tax credit investments for all properties. This is achieved by decreasing processing time for new applications, implementing and consistently following procedures to ensure continual compliance with program requirements, delivering excellent customer service, and leading by example. I monitor compliance for properties under the LIHTC program, Section 8 based, RAP/236 blended with Tax Credits, RAD, and Section 8 based blended with tax credits. I am responsible for all phases of processing new and current resident files. This includes approving files, performing monthly on-site compliance audits, assisting with audits performed by state agencies, providing on-site training and submitting reports to state agencies. I am also responsible for ensuring each property remains in compliance with all HUD and LIHTC program requirements. This includes reviewing/creating move-in/recertification forms, voucher reconcilation, ensuring properties remain in compliance with EIV and TRACS requirements, maintaining Tenant Selection Plans, Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plans, and Rent Schedules. As the assigned 504 and VAWA Coordinator, I review and approve all Reasonable Accommodation/Modification, 504, and VAWA requests.Certifications: Blended Occupancy SpecialistCertified Occupancy Specialist AdvancedHousing Credit Certified ProfessionalFair Housing Certified
