Redfern

Reporting to the CEO, I was responsible for the successful expansion of locally customised AIME programs into three African communities. I completed this role in addition to my role as Director, Research & Impact.Key Responsibilities:• Travel to new sites and conduct community participation/consultation sessions• Work with new communities to develop strategic plans for community expansion and development• Recruit local talent• Develop and deliver induction and training to new staff• Coach and mentor new staff• Monitor and evaluate impact and report accordingly• Build capacity of local staff to autonomously run programs• Reflect and define how to significantly streamline and systemise expansion processes to make it adaptable and repeatable at scale.Achievements• Travelled independently to new regions in Africa and successfully signed contracts and got programs operational in 3 communities• Recruited local talent on the ground and successfully mentored and coached them to meet their KPIs in year one of operation• Capacity building of local staff to autonomously run the program• Created streamlined expansion plans for further future community expansion• Received recognition from CEO for the exceptional level of outcomes for this project.

Working within the Partnering Team I was responsible for managing and building a diverse range of partner relationships, leading the organisations reporting and building a credible research base.Key Responsibilities:• Build and maintain a portfolio of philanthropic, corporate and government partner relationships• Guide partners through community program sessions • Write proposals for grants and funding and manage grant/ funding reporting• Manage the entire program data processes in CRM and provide fortnightly analytics to CEO• Manage production of AIME’s interim, end of year and annual reports• Build partnerships with university stakeholders and research partners and complete a variety of research projects investigating the impact of the program• Represent the organisation at events, networking and conferences.• Manage the Year 12 Transitions Program ensuring as many Year 12 students transition into university, employment or other further education.

This role supported the management of the State’s fisheries resources to deliver on the statutory objectives of conserving, developing and sharing the fishery resources of the State for the benefit of present and future generations.Key responsibilities:• Ensure the effective and efficient administration and management of the NSW Lobster Fishery• Liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders• Interpret and apply fisheries legislation and policy• Provide advice and information to management, research, compliance and stakeholders• Organise management meetings including meeting agendas, minutes and other correspondence• Ensure tasks are completed by set deadlines• Provide quality services in a high volume work load environment• Utilise departmental computerised databases, spreadsheets and word processing packages• Draft ministerial briefs and correspondence on issues relating to the NSW Lobster Fishery• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Accurately enter all catch data for the NSW Lobster Fishery• Provide detailed reports to Fisheries Officers on compliance issues in the Lobster Fishery
