My enthusiasm to try new things, build meaningful relationships, and make a difference in the world has shaped the core of my identity. I credit my zest for life with being able to serve my community and connect with like-minded individuals. Mentoring others and providing them with the tools they need to achieve their goals. I am a born and raised Washingtonian who loves to travel, and currently reside in Fort Worth, Texas with my husband and 4 beautiful children. I've made it my mission to ride as many roller coasters in my life as possible. So far I've almost ridden every roller coaster on the west coast, which totals over 70. I am also an experienced musician who can play the piano, guitar, clarinet, and sing; I've even performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. As a nonprofit executive, I lead and execute the operation management of a national nonprofit program that helps military veterans transition and find a career with purpose in the Medical Technology Industry. With over 3.5 years of experience in this role, I oversee the Academy, networking events, mentorship, and partnership programs, serving about 80 veterans a year and engaging over 500 volunteers.I am a purpose-driven nonprofit executive with a passion for innovation and adventure. I have a diverse range of skill sets, including skill development, donor relations, and mentoring, that enable me to create and implement program strategies, improve social media standing, and increase employment retention. I am motivated by the opportunity to empower my community and connect with like-minded individuals who share my vision of social, economic, and education advocacy.
