I am a mission-driven nonprofit professional with over 20 years of proven success in project management, capacity building, strategic planning, navigating organizational transitions, and fundraising. At the heart of my work is a passion for coaching and empowering individuals, helping them unlock their potential and contribute meaningfully to a shared mission.I was hired by the Nashville Public Library Foundation to build a new community giving program as a result of the dissolution of Friends of Nashville Public Library, a grassroots 501(c)(3). Through attentive communication, authentic relationship-building, and collaborative strategic planning, I fostered a sense of unity around a shared goal — advancing the mission of Nashville Public Library. This teamwork, along with my comprehensive portfolio of community-focused programs and initiatives, increased community-level giving by 72% and individual donors by 132%. Under my leadership as Executive Director of Girls on the Run of WNC, the organization received the 2015 Girls on the Run International Pace Setter Award for Capacity Building and was selected in 2016 as one of three councils in the nation to participate in the first longitudinal study to measure the impact of Girls on the Run. Driven by expansion and inclusion goals, particularly in underserved populations, I secured $80,000 in new grant funding to provide program scholarships to ensure all girls had access to Girls on the Run. Throughout my career, the strategies and programs I've implemented reflect my deep commitment to collaboratively creating healthy and equitable communities where everyone has access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
