In this role, I formulated a Department-wide event planning template and used it to plan and execute events. I acted as team leader/project manager, delegating tasks within multiple complex responsibilities and produced Department-wide documents such as press releases and emails.

As the Public Relations Intern at the Boise Metro Chamber, I illustrated the Chamber’s stances on local policy issues through comprehensive research and PowerPoint presentations. I also charted project ideas for public relations programming, including a blog strategy and engagement measurement.

At AARP, I pioneered a new volunteer onboarding program by researching similar organizations’ programs, assessing current program, and collaborating with the Volunteer Coordinator. Photos, videos, and written media I produced were showcased on social media platforms. I evaluated and measured those efforts, as well as our traditional media, through Cision and Sprinklr.

In my first internship, I conceived and promoted all volunteer events at Deer Flat using newsletters and social media. I recruited volunteers, organized volunteer activities, and designed all promotional materials for these efforts through Canva.
